Dr. Laborde

Co-Founder - Medical Center Clinic

Dr. Alfred Laborde graduated from Central Catholic High School and St. Mary’s University. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University and served as a surgical resident at Chicago Medical School, where he also worked as a clinical instructor of surgery. After a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, he joined Peripheral Vascular Associates in 1992 and pursued his specific interests in outpatient vein treatment. Dr. Laborde is Board Certified in General Vascular Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Thompson

Dr. Robert K. Thompson III graduated from University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas, and his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Thompson is Board Certified in General Vascular Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

After forty – six years of practice as a distinguished vascular surgeon, Dr. David J. Mozersky has announced his retirement effective May 2020. Although he will miss his patients, he is confident his co-founder Dr. Alfred Laborde at the Huebner clinic and his partner, Dr. Robert K. Thompson III at the Hardy Oak clinic will provide the best of care.

In 1974, Dr. Mozersky founded Peripheral Vascular Associates. Then in 1988, Dr. Mozersky co-founded Veintec Varicose Vein Clinics with Dr. Laborde. Today Veintec continues to thrive as one of San Antonio’s leading treatment centers for venous disease.
